Atos Worldline, the IT-BPO services subsidiary of Atos Origin, provides end-to-end private card management services to its Oil & Gas clients. The services concern the B to C sector through loyalty cards management and the B to B sector with complete management of fleet cards and payment cards.

Since 1992, Atos Worldline has developed and implemented a processing offer for managing the entire range of B to B client fuel cards for major players in the oil sector.

Atos Worldline operates, on behalf of its clients, the whole cycle of the fuel card activity on a world-wide scale from card creation to the management of customized end-user service centers (Card Operation Center).

To reach these objectives, Atos Worldline has available not only its own data production center expertise but also a full range of software solutions that comply with every national legal requirement and cover problems specific to payment card activity such as fraud.

The Card/1 software system allows Atos Worldline to manage the overall management of clients and merchants billing for its clients. This service solution which is operational in more than 30 countries, responds to the most complex international billing issues (e.g. multi-country, multi-currency, multi-language, multi-regulation).

The B2B payment card is used to purchase fuel, services and goods in service stations:

 

  • The customers are road transport companies (domestic or international), major companies which use a large fleet (e.g. BT, Avis), small businesses (tradesmen, private driver, taxi) which use vehicles on a daily basis.
  • The purchases are made in the company service stations, in the service stations of partners or at points of sale of third parties (e.g. toll, ferries, bridges). A detailed monthly invoice is raised to pay for the purchases.

 

Every day, Atos Worldline carries out the following main functions on behalf of its clients:

 

  • Customer hierarchy, card, cardholder, sales condition management (discount/surcharge, price list and fee), product codification, merchant and site
  • Transaction authorization
  • Polling, transaction validation, enrichment and processing with distribution to the involved parties
  • Connection with the main oil networks (e.g. Routex, Eurotrafic) and third parties such as issuing companies (e.g. DKV, UTA) or supplying partners (e.g. Toll, Ferries)
  • National, international (multi-language) billing
  • Customer invoicing, merchant reimbursement
  • International clearing (Europe, Asia, South America), affiliate/partner/third party invoicing and statement
  • Accurate customer credit limits management (with information from ERP system)
  • Payment/Settlement (DD file, dunning, transfer to collection agencies).
  • Card centre operations
  • Ancillary services managed directly by Atos Worldline (Printing & Mailing, card manufacture and embossing)
